Terms of service

1. Purpose
These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern the use of the Academic Copilot service ("the Service"), published by BEST CHOICE CONSULTING. The Service is an AI-assisted academic writing copilot, designed for French-speaking students and researchers.
2. Subscription tiers
The Service is offered in three tiers: Discovery (free), Premium (paid, monthly or annual), Cohort (paid, on quote). Prices are adjusted according to the local purchasing power parity (PPP) of the user's geographic zone.
3. Payment methods
Payments are processed by our approved providers: Stripe (credit card), FedaPay (Mobile Money), PayPal (USD and EUR). The Service never stores credit card numbers. All transactions are secured by our providers (PCI-DSS SAQ-A compliant).
4. Billing
Billing is monthly or annual according to the cycle chosen by the user. Payment is charged in advance, on the subscription anniversary date. An invoice is sent by email after each charge.
5. Cancellation
The user can cancel their subscription at any time from their personal space. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. No refund is due for the current period (see the Refund Policy).
6. Intellectual property
The user retains all rights to the content they produce via the Service. The Service is an assistance tool; the academic and intellectual responsibility of the final content remains with the user.
7. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". The publisher cannot be held liable for factual errors, inaccuracies, or content generated by the AI. The user undertakes to verify all information produced before submitting it to an academic institution.
